IALD Design Palooza Presents | Dr Cliff Lauson Curator at the Hayward Gallery

Dr Cliff Lauson Curator at the Hayward Gallery will be at the London studio on 3rd June 2014 as part of the IALD Design Palooza series.
- Dr. Cliff Lauson is Curator at the Hayward Gallery at Southbank Centre in London. A graduate of UBC and formerly the Education and Public Programmes Coordinator at the Museum of Anthropology (1998-2003), he completed his MA in 2004 and Phd in 2009 on the History of Art at University College London. Previous to his position at the Hayward he was Assistant Curator at Tate from 2005-2009.
- Dr Lauson will talk about his career history and will focus much of his talk on Light Show which exhibited at The Hayward from January – May 2013 and showcased the work of artists Dan Flavin, Conrad Shawcross and James Turrell to name but a few.
The IALD Design Palooza is a series of talks intended primarily, but not exclusively, for IALD student members and emerging professionals interested in careers in lighting design. Some of the world’s most inspiring designers will present their work and show that there’s more to lighting than putting circles on drawings.
