Written by acdc on December 16, 2014>
On the 30th June, James Siddle of Ideaworks will be visiting the London Studio as part of the How to be Brilliant series.
James joined Ideaworks as a Lighting Design Assistant in the summer of 2012 on a placement year as part of his university studies. His background is in entertainment lighting design and control. He has been quickly developing his skills in the architectural lighting design sector.
James first developed his interest for lighting design at school, and quickly took charge of the technical facilities for both the school stage and drama studio. This leadership was first in a voluntary capacity, before the position became full time.
During his time at Ideaworks he has played a major role in many projects, including the design of the lighting control for the Ideaworks Monaco Yacht Show stand, the commissioning and scene setting of a lighting scheme within a five star hotel cinema and lately has spent time on sites liaising with engineers and other trades resolving issues and problems.
James has now rejoined Ideaworks as a Technical Lighting Designer after his final year at university
